Step 1: The first step is to clear the paper jams in the paper output slots. Pull out the paper from the output paper tray gently and then restart your Canon printer. 

Step 2: If you are unable to remove the paper then it might get ejected automatically by your device. Reload the papers into the input paper tray and then press the Reset or Stop button on your printer.

Step 3: Ensure to place the appropriate paper size for the print job. If any paper is jammed inside your printer at the transport unit then turn off your device and unplug the power cable. 

Step 4: Next, place the Canon printer with the right side facing the downwards. Push the lever to open the transport unit. Pull out the jammed papers slowly and then close the transport unit.
